So I've been up and down, and shaken and dropped to my knees only to pick myself up again. I miss my best friends and sometimes I think it'll never be as good as it was last year. But there are so many good things happening right now, in these moments, life just doesn't seem like it can get any better. It could be that I'm listening to Broken Bells' "the high road" right now and that song always brings a peaceful smile and slow steady head nod...nah. Life is amazing! I will admit though, winter has killed my running regiment. As much as I love to run in the cold, my knee is way too much pain from the arthritis from the misc injuries over the years. I'm gonna try to slowly get back into it again. Start at 2 miles and build back up again, hopefully it'll work. But onto the dessert. Some photos to mark the occasions thus far.
